Do we have any real use cases with Pattern Matching and Vertica?

I understand that we have some use cases related to click streaming even in our documentation.

One of our customers also use this functionality for web analysis, so I'm looking for any other use case.

I found some use cases in Oracle documentation.

These use cases would be implemented by Vertica, I assume.
It would be great if I can have some information related to Vertica with Pattern matching in the real world.

Any information would be highly appreciated!

    Hi Kanako,

    We recently performed a POC where we tested for patterns of sensor readings. For example, customer wanted to match cases where a sensor had a certain reading for a certain number of consecutive instances, or where a reading was in a certain range for a certain number of instances.

    We can supply more detailed examples and SQL for this type of use case.

    Thanks for your valuable comment. (Then, sorry for my late reply... it seems that I missed the notification.)
    It sounds like what I'm looking for. It would be great if I can know more detailed information. SQL example would be very helpful. We plan to create a demonstration for our prospects using our analytics functions.
