Does anyone have a customer using Vertica and Azure AD as LDAP source or know whether it works? I initially assumed there was no difference between Azure AD and AD DS but am now reading that Azure AD does not support the LDAP protocol. If correct, I have to assume it will not work but want to double-check with anyone who has more knowledge in this area. Thanks!

+2It looks possible but requires layers upon layers to support, see the LDAP guide at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-domain-services/tutorial-configure-ldaps
We would need to create an Azure AD domain service for testing.
