BBY is considering moving to NetBackup and/or DataDomain as a backup solution rather than hard-link local backups. Does anyone have experience using either or both? Are there version of config dependencies, e.g. minimum version of NetBackup, or type/model of DataDomain appliance?

Hi Bryan,
we (PE) have not worked with Partner like Veritas - Netbackup or Dell - DataDomain. for a backup solution. The only partner we work was Telena (new name - Imanis Data) - https://www.vertica.com/partner/imanisdata/.
