copycluster with multiple storage locations

I have a customer who is upgrading production hardware but not DR. After upgrade, production will have new SSD disks in a new storage location for two storage locations (existing spinning disks as loc1 and new SSD disks as loc2). However, DR will have equivalent spinning disk with only one storage location. Will vbr copycluster continue to work? Or do the storage locations and mount points need to match in both env?
