Have U ever experienced such issue:
__Some background. The project is meant to start as an internal demo on CE and later switched to a Vertica Premium Edition license.
We are asking because our previous experience shows that when a database is created in CE, it does not start up after the Vertica instance is upgraded to Premium Edition. A new database had to be created.

In my opinion it should not happen as binaries are the same - only license keys differs....Maybe they will changed the binaries/updated incorrectly (while they will updating the license keys).
