if i have 300 tables and want to use DBD to create projections, since vertica has limit of 100 queries how will it create optimal projections.
Should we split per 100 tables and run 3 times and have 1 query per table and also have at least 1 row inserted per table .

Hi,

You do not need to submit an individual query for all three hundred tables!

Typically, you first create a "Comprehensive" design which runs against all of the tables. You can also supply queries for Vertica to create query specific projections. Those queries are the one that folks are running in the DB should table joins, where clause predicates, order by statements and group by statements.

Did you create a "Comprehensive" design yet?
