Hi,

The release notes for DbVisualizer 10.0.9 states that it includes:

DB Support: Vertica Improvements for Vertica as suggested by Microfocus (vendor for Vertica)

See:
http://www.dbvis.com/doc/relnotes/?version=10.0.9

Anyone have a detailed list of what those suggestion are?

Currently This:

Creating the view - showing projection ussage:

select
projection_name,
sum(row_count) as row_count,
sum(used_bytes) as used_bytes,
sum(wos_row_count) as wos_row_count,
sum(wos_used_bytes) as wos_used_bytes,
sum(ros_row_count) as ros_row_count,
sum(ros_used_bytes) as ros_used_bytes
from
projection_storage

group by 1
order by 1
;

  • You can also group by node the query above

select projection_name, anchor_table_schema, anchor_table_name, io_type, count(*) as Activity from projection_usage
WHERE anchor_table_schema not like 'v_temp%'
group by projection_name, anchor_table_schema, anchor_table_name, io_type
order by 5 DESC, 1;

Also I suggested to code hints for functions (for parameters, required by the UDX)
