Dependency graph in VAdvisor

Hi Forum,
from a VAdvisor report we see the attached dependency graph. I do understand we want to see a ring of nodes whith each node having one inbound and one outbound edge. But the attached looks different.
Node 1 has three outgoing edges, node 16 has three ingoing edges. How can this happen please? Are we sure the report is correct? (I have seen something similar in a different report)
Also, the numbers annotating the edges: is this the # of projections please?
