Does STV_Intersect Operation takes all the Points inside a Polygon?

I want to perform a GIS Points in Polygon Operation.

My question is: STV_Intersect takes all the points INSIDE the polygon?
Or just the points that intersects/crosses a polygon?

Hi. STV_Intersect includes both points that are contained in the polygon and points on the polygons edges.
