Dynamic Resource Pools

I know there is quite a good Resource Manager in Vertica but they are all static.
Since Vertica so far in my experience depends allot on it's resources(memory in general), how about creating a Dynamic Resource Pool functionality. 
This will deal with resource management better i think.
