I'm seeing a weird bug on this forum. If I put in an emoji, it gets eaten up, along with everything after the emoji. I'm entering the emoji using the built-in macOS character viewer, so I assume the emoji are being sent as Unicode.

I'm not sure of what emoji limitations there are for Vanilla Forums, but I just sent a request to our admin to see if we can get more emoji's enabled

I think the bug I'm describing is upstream in the forum software and is not related to forum settings. Something about unicode emoji is tripping up the forum and causing it to drop part of the message.

Anyway, no big deal now that I know to avoid emoji. Just wanted to point this issue out in case it affects others too.
