Do you know of customers that use Attunity to replicate changes into Vertica?
One of our VIP customers considering it to replace their existing ETL from MySQL to Vertica.
Any other suggestions for streaming changes other than using an open-source binlog reader?

Thank you Vertiguy.
Since I did not get any other feedback I’ve been in contact with Larry Shertz (Larry.Shertz@attunity.com) from Attunity and got from him the following information.

Attunity have a customer name Lastminute that Larry worked with personally,
who replicate changes into Vertica.
As per Larry the customer is the largest internet travel vendor in Europe and one of the largest in the world: http://www.lastminutegroup.com/about-us/overview.aspx.

Attunity typical recommended architecture for a streaming solution is:
Source(s) >> Replicate >> Kafka >> Target(s)

Kafka can be part of the distributions from Apache, Hortonworks, Cloudera, etc. although they have found that their customers get a lot of value from working with Confluent.
