Hello team,
IHAC looking for recommendations around integrating on-prem AD with a proposed Vertica EON database.
They can't directly expose AD server to Vertica because of their corporate security policy, and were hoping to use their AD Federation Services. Which I don't think is an option with us (as ADFS communicates over HTTPs).
Next they ask if AWS AD connector can help here. Again looking at resources below, seems it is designed to connect AWS console and AWS apps to AD.

Anyone with any thoughts/experience on integrating on-prem AD with Vertica on AWS (EON/Enterprise)?
Also, am I right to say that ADFS and AWS AD connector is not an option with Vertica?
