Yassine
Hello,

Could you please provide an update on the integration/certification between Looker and Vertica and whether we have customers using this stack?

Thanks,
-Yassine

Hi Yassine, One Kings Lane (OKL) was using Looker on Vertica prior to acquisition by Bed Bath and Beyond (BBBY). BBBY is a Tableau shop and appears to be migrating OKL's Looker workloads onto BBBY Tableau instances. On the plus side, they are also migrating some BBBY dashboards onto Vertica.

FYI... Not sure if this is relevant, but .... When I worked for Avnet, prior to coming to work at Vertica, I was on site at OKL in San Francisco helping them with their Vertica cluster. The gentleman in charge told us that they chose Looker because Tableau Server did not scale :)

Hi Yassine,
We have recently tested Looker on-prem product and on cloud product with Vertica 9.2. We have good partner relationship if you have any issue with using the product with Vertica.
Please let us know if you still have any questions.
Thanks,
Jawahar.
