Sorry if there is a specific beta forums for Vertica, I'm not aware of one.
I'm having a hard time finding any documentation at all for the new Kafka functionality in excavator. I managed to get the package installed but can't find the correct parameters to pass for the function. There doesn't seem to be any mention of this feature in the beta documentation.
I saw some people do it at the Big Data conference this week but didn't take any screenshots of the slides. (They said they would be posted online but can't find those either).
