Situation
During the data validation phase in the new cluster with 3 nodes 25.2 enterprise mode, we encountered an issue.Specifically, a query is returning incorrect and unexpected results based on the selected time range. It’s important to note that the same query runs perfectly fine in our current production Vertica environment.The query in question calculates hourly traffic for all days in week 38 of 2025. In production, it returns 168 records (24 hours × 7 days), one per hour from September 15 to 21.However, in the new cluster, the same query only returns 48 records, covering just September 20 and 21. No data is returned for September 15–19.
