Situation
When encountering the node crash issues, the core dump file is generated. To find the cause of the unexpected problems, which internal operation encounters them, and when, a generated core dump is required.
The core dump file sometimes becomes so huge. It depends on how much memory the process has allocated. Usually, the files requested by the product support are uploaded to the support case on the support portal. The upload may fail if the file size is too large, as the prolonged uploading time may trigger network issues. It offers an alternative option to provide the core dump file to the product support by uploading it to a secure Vertica Amazon S3 bucket.
