Environment
Vertica Version 10.x or higher on AWS
Situation
The link https://www.vertica.com/kb/GenericHWGuide/Content/Hardware/GenericHWGuide.htm recommends to use 'deadline' for physica
to use 'deadline' for physical disks (spinning magnetic). If you are using ST1 disks from AWS and 'deadline' scheduler is no longer available on current operating systems and now-a-days, the Linux operating system offers the 'mq-deadline' scheduler instead.
Is this scheduler also validated for Vertica usage?
