Need help in Scheduling Algorithms

Hi

I am new to Hadoop and I am trying to run and review multiple Scheduling Algorithms that schedule Map- Reduce Jobs.
Can someone kindly point towards their direction(like sending a link etc.,), and also any points on how can I implement these Scheduling Algorithms(in HADOOP???)
