A prospect is requesting to read data from Outlook to Vertica.
Do we have a way to export emails from Outlook to Vertica?
There are external tools to export things to CSV but the request is for an automated process.
1. Can we get such connector from IDOL?
2. What do you think about the following?
https://www.workato.com/integrations/outlook+vertica
3. Any other idea?

Hi, I am a former Autonomy guy. There exists an Exchange Connector for reading mailboxes and PST files so if they are still maintaining the Vertica integration in the CFS then you should be able to select messages from files and servers and push them into Vertica. You might run into issues with forwards and attachments - IDOL is an XML document store, so it can embed messages inside other messages and also uses tags and references to store message hierarchy (attchments, threads, etc.) and these may be diffcult to flatten in CSV.
