Owners of tables change when vbr replicating

We're using Vertica v12.
We replicate schemas from Prod to UAT using the vbr tool.
I've noticed that tables created in Prod have the correct ownership, but when we replicate to UAT the ownership changes to 'dbadmin'.
It means when we run e.g. "grant all on all tables in schema ABC to ABC_ADMIN;" it doesn't apply to these tables, because they're owned by 'dbadmin'. I have to run "alter table ABC.TABLE1 owner to ABC;" first.
Is this a known issue?
