Querying data from HDFS.

Hi, We have installed Hortonworks 2.5 and Vertica 9. Anyone having steps to query data directly from hdfs or using Hcatalog. We can use any one of these. I have read through vertica 9 documentation but not getting exact steps needs to be done on Hadoop and vertica nodes.

It's super easy to access data in Hadoop from Vertica!

First, make sure to review and perform the tasks under the topic: "Configuring the hdfs Scheme"
