Hi,
According to https://docs.vertica.com/26.1.x/en/getting-started/community-edition-ce/,
Community Edition is not longer offered starting with version 26.1.x.
Where can I find details about license offers?
I have already sent mail to analyticstrials@opentext.com.
Thank you,
Veronica Carusi

https://docs.vertica.com/26.1.x/en/admin/managing-licenses/understanding-licenses/

Understanding licenses

OpenText™ Analytics Database has flexible licensing terms. It can be licensed on the following bases:

  • Term-based (valid until a specific date).

  • Size-based (valid to store up to a specified amount of raw data).

  • Both term- and size-based.

  • Unlimited duration and data storage.

  • Node-based with an unlimited number of CPUs and users (one node is a server acting as a single computer system, whether physical or virtual).

  • A pay-as-you-go model where you pay for only the number of hours you use. This license is available on your cloud provider's marketplace.

I would like to have more details, plans/terms ans price.
Thank you!

Thank you for you help!

I have another question:
For Community Edition, version 25.1, that is free up to 1TB of data, how this 1TB is calculated, per each server or for all servers?
We have multiple servers, with difference license size.
1 TB refers to each single server or we should sum the size of all servers?
Thank you!

You are welcome. It allows you to deploy up to three nodes using a maximum of 1TB of data. so a cluster with 3 nodes.

I think I wasn't clear..
My question is: this 1TB is per each single cluster or for all clusters in company ?
Thank you!
