Thanks Jawahar. Right side of link says "You cannot perform an in-place upgrade of your current Vertica Analytic Database from Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6–6.9 to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0/7.3/7.4/7.5/7.6Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0/7.3/7.4/7.5/7.6." But doesnt mention anything about Redhat 7.8 . That's reason to ask the question.

@sreeblr, that's talking about OS upgrade from 6.x to 7.x. For Vertica, refer to the 'supported versions' column. All three are supported on 7.x.
