Vertica 9.3 , 10 upgrade

Since there is removal of support for WOS in Vertica 9.3 /10 if i have an existing code which uses insert with /*+ DIRECT */ as hint will it give error in Vertica 9.3/10 . Asking since we will have to modify many inserts in current code before performing upgrade from Vertica 9.2 to 9.3 /10
