Hi Siva, Well, this means that you were performing a batch insert and there was an error :-) This kind of error typically means something like you tried to insert invalid data for the table in question, etc. I'm afraid folks here will need a little more detail in order to be more helpful than that. What command/statement were you running when you got this error? What is the exact text of the error message, including any Info or Hint lines? Are there more details in the "vertica.log" file in the catalog directory on the server? (If Vertica emits a warning or error, that message will be logged too by default, and the preceding log lines may give more information.) Adam
