I noticed that with Visual COBOL for Visual Studio 2019 TABs are not retained even though the settings in Tools > Options > Text Editor > Micro Focus COBOL > Tabs are set to use the Horizontal Tabulator character for spacing (see images attached).
Doing so, Visual COBOL always misaligns new lines to existing lines with above settings in place.
