Can´t change de value of a variable when I´m debugging

Hello, good afternoon,
When I'm drawing in Net Express 5.1, when I try to modify the value of a variable during execution, I get the modify window, but I don't see the value, so I can't change it. What is missing from my installation? Please explain in detail that I am new.

I would help if you could give a bit more detail.

Was the program compiled for debugging ie did you use the ANIM compiler directive ?

Is it a specific variable you are unable to modify, if so how is the variable defined, or are you unable to modify any of the variables in the program?

Is execution paused when you try to modify it ? You cannot modify values while a program is running so you will either need to set a breakpoint or interrupt execution.

When I´m debugging, I can´t change any variable, when I stop de debugging, and I need to change a variable . this is, I see. My computer is windows 10.

I think you will need to post the question in the Net Express forum and hopefully one of the experts there can give you an answer. 

You should include information on where in the program the data item is defined ie working-storage/linkage, how it is declared ie its PIC clause and how the program was compiled ie what compiler directives were set. 

Hopefully then somebody will be able to help.
