Problem:

Installing or upgrading Enterprise Developer [ED] or Visual COBOL [VC] on a clean machine and pressing the Cancel button towards the end (just before the completion of the installer), might leave traces of the product installed on the system.

Solution:

In order to install the product successfully in the event of cancellation, in ‘Programs and Features’ (Windows Control Panel) either

  - perform a Repair to complete installation of the product, or

  - to remove the product, select Uninstall.
