who has experience with Cobol and SAP?
Since 9 month i learn to program in SAP Abap and i am enjoy for the possibilities in ABAP. ABAP is near Cobol, that was the begin and over many years ABAP have take a many possibilities from other languages. Open Source SQL is integrated, OO ABAP is possible, DYNPRO for graphicals Screens are integrated with many Icons, Webdynpro for Internet programming, etc....
ABAP-Workbench is a very good tool, but the generated code is an Interpreter!
This may be a good way to integrate all possibilities in Visual Cobol for a glory future of Cobol Applications!
