I'm a legacy programmer new to this environment.  I used IBM DB2 on the mainframe and would like to use DB2 here with Visual Cobol.  Can anyone tell me where I can find the software for free to download and use with my environment VS 2015, VC 2.3

You would need to get DB2 from IBM as it is their product. You can download DB2 Express-C for free from IBM here:
