Which analyzing options do exist in our product to analyze the reason for return code 453 from a Web Service call which was issued by the generated COBOL Client?

Hi Rolf,
Is this client calling a COBOL Web Service in ES or something outside?
Client user exits are available if you wish to see the request before it is sent and the response before it returns to the client and you can see the entire SOAP message. This is documented here: Web Service Client Exits
I have a small demo that I will send to you if you want to go this route.
You can also use CTF and trace the IDMR component.

Also, you can run Idtmake to generate IDMR trace files.

Hi Bill,
I have tried IDTMAKE, but there is nothing in our documentation about that tool. I have strted the following command in an ED command prompt: idtmake /Lf C:\\Drive_D\\ES_Workspaces\\ESREST64\\deploy\\BookService1.CB9-NJOd\\BookService1.idt and this results in a couple of files in the directory where the .idt file is stored, but these are binary files. Do these contain any information? How can I get it in readable format?
I tried CTF as well, but it does not show the request and response message.
Any ideas?

Hi Rolf, the correct command would be idtmake /Lf /PC:\\folder (note the missing /P and no IDT file). Contact me directly if you have trouble or need more explanation.
