A. A "Docker Server" is any Windows or Linux machine with the Docker software installed on that allows you to create and start Docker Containers.
Q. What is the requests on this Server for installing visual COBOL Docker files?
A. Not sure what you mean here.
Q. What is the Advantage for this method?
A. Docker Container allow you to spin up lots of minimum foot print machine images with just the OS and software required to run your app. The idea is they are short lived and only run for as long as needed then shut down. At peak times more containers can be spun up to meat demand.
