Today I tried to update in my PC the version 7.0 of Visual Cobol to version 8.0, running the process vcvs2019_80.exe, and previously I have not uninstalled the 7.0. I have not received any message that I should previously uninstall the 7.0, and when it is finishing the installation gives an installation failure error 0x80131509, it does not finish the installation, and generates a log file. The installation has kept my license data, but VS2019 does not recognize the VC solutions I already had. I have tried to perform a repair of VC 2019 8.0 and it returns the same 0x80131509 error. I have restarted, and the errors continue. How can I do a clean install of VC8.0 without losing the license. Even if I uninstall VC8.0, and reinstall it again, the error 0x80131509 appears at the end of the installation.
Any clue how to solve it?
