Today, we experienced slowdowns in a production environment in the processes running there. We investigated the reason for this loss of performance and found that during the execution of one of the components, an excessive call was made to the thread_stmystate_fast function. Memory addresses were assigned more times than the process requires. This application was running on an earlier OS version, and there, the calls to this function were much lower, which did not cause any slowdowns in the process.
