h2cpy.exe from VC6.0 cut names at 31 characters

the result when converting a file.h will give the same result as with h2cpy.exe from netexpress5.x

the Name longer than 31 characters will be cut, i mean this is not necessary for visual Cobol 6.x

Is this a bug or wanted from the developper?

Chris, is it possible to have a Extension to the command line to cut or not the variable names? /cut31 or /nocut

The current list of command line switches for the h2cpy utility can be found here:

This utility has been around for a long time but it isn't very widely used. I don't believe that we have made any changes to it in quite awhile.

Product enhancements are governed by the Product Manager and Development groups. You would need to submit an official request for an enhancement through Customer Support by creating a support incident.
