The license for the Personal Edition of the product expires after a year and then you have to download a new copy and get a new license.
Visual COBOL 2.3 PE is now available for download.

Actually you do not need a license number you need to register for and download the latest Visual COBOL PE product from the microfocus.com web site which can be found here..

The latest version of Visual COBOL PE is available only for use with Visual Studio 2015. If you require a free version of this then you must download the Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition from Microsoft prior to installing Visual COBOL.
