Question: The size of the logging files are quite large. Is there a method to reduce these?

Answer: One UNIX/Linux you can change the value of the LSERVOPTS variable called in the startlserv.sh script in /var/microfocuslicensing.

The default value is

LSERVOPTS="-s /var/microfocuslicensing/bin/lservrc.net -l /var/microfocuslicensi

ng/logs/lserv.log -z 10m"

where 10m would permit a 10 Megabyte file to be generated. You can change the value to something lower such as 2k for 2 kilobytes. 

After change the value in the script, please restart the license services.
