Hi all,

On VC 10.0 with the default VSAM security, I got the following error with mdump:

you need to provide your VSAM ESM credentials with the mdump command:

>mdump

Usage, in any order:
 
mdump [-v verbosity level] [-a DS-address | DS-address:port | *] [-p port] [-n server-name | *] [-m module] [-b auth] [-u username/id] [-x password] [-d baseDN] [-s scope]
 
Default values are show in {}
 
    -a        Address of Directory Server you wish to connect to.
              Three versions to allow port specification and wildcard search.
              [address | address:port | *]
              {localhost}
 
    -b        Authorization option used to bind to the Directory Server.
              [ 0 = MLDAP_AUTH_NONE | 1 = MLDAP_AUTH_NONE_MF_FAST |
                3 = MLDAP_AUTH_SIMPLE_TCP |
                4 = MLDAP_AUTH_SIMPLE_MF_FAST ]

Thank you for this. I could run it by:

 mdump -a localhost -p 86 -n ESDEMO -s 1 -v 2 -u cn=SYSAD -x [SYSAD pwd]
