Missing Menu Item to open OpenESQL Assitant

I created an application with ESQL using Visual Studio 2019 and Visual Cobol 6.

Now I have migrated to Visual Studio 2022 and Visual Cobol 8.

Since then, the menu item for starting the OpenESQL Assistant is no longer available.

Who knows advice.

I'm with the same problem.

I use OpenESQL Assistant on Visual Studio 2019 with Visual COBOL 5, but now I'm moving to Visual Studio 2022 and Visual COBOL 8, and the OpenESQL Assistant menu does not appear even if I go into search.

As Chris indicated above it is off of the View main menu item in Visual Studio 

Very strange. In my Visual Studio 2019 it appears right there as you show. But on Visual Studio 2022 it doesn't.

Close Visual Studio and use File Explorer to navigate to the following folder:

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Micro Focus\\Visual COBOL\\vsix\\VS17.0

Then run the MFVSIXInstall.exe

Then check to see if the option appears.

I did it and still missing. I also removed Visual COBOL for Visual Studio and Visual Studio and reinstalled both of them. And it still missing 

I noticed that you were both using Spanish as your VS language. I tested with Spanish and VS2022 and I also do not get the SQL options. In English it works fine.

If one of you can create a support incident for this and mention this post in the decsription we can create a defect report for this.

do you have install all suplementals see pulldown menu

I am using a German Version of Visual Cobol Personal Edition.

Running  MFVSIXInstall.exe did not not work.

There currently is no workaround for this problem of the MF SQL Tools menu item not being displayed when languages other than English are used. The only thing that you can do at the moment is to switch your VS language to English. We are looking into the problem.
