I filled out the digital form with my email, as you are supposed to do to get the license to use the product. But I have not received a license code via email yet. I was hoping someone here could help me.

Hello,

The license should be in the same zip file where the product installer is. It should have an .xml extension.

Hi Chris. Thank you for your response. I have not received a product installer in my email either. Is  there another place where I can find it?

I found the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Rocket Software\Licensing\RocketPass\log4j2.xml. However, when I click the Authorize button in Visual COBOL I get the following message: License installation failed.

Initialising …
OK = 0
Starting RPD ...0
Install failed 10005907
License installation failed. [5907] adding password failed

I am installing the Personal Edition. What do I do to correct this?

That is not the license file. It sounds like you now have the product installed so the license file should be in the same zip file from which the product installer was found.

Can you please tell me the name of the file you received attached to the email and then show me its contents?

Thanks, Chris. I now have Visual COBOL installed and registered. The file was right where you said it would be. I never thought to look in that folder. The filename is Visual COBOL for Visual Studio Personal Edition-RPv1.xml.
