I am a user of an old version of Microfocus's Visual COBOL. I wish to upgrade to the new Visual COBOL since I program extensively in Microsoft's Visual Studio using C#. I heard the price for Visual COBOL is around $3900 which I find quite expensive compared to Microsoft's Visual Studio for $600. Does anyone know the latest price for Visual COBOL and if they have single user versions that are less expensive? Also, is Visual COBOL have the same framework as Visual Studio? I wish I could get a trial version but can't seem to find one.
