Problem
The Eclipse .Log file records any activity from the IDE, including exceptions and errors. This information is often very detailed and useful for troubleshooting issues, but it is not easy to read.
Can it be simplified?
Resolution:
The Eclipse IDE offers a View which extracts only the header line of each entry in the.>Log file, allowing for easier reading of the file contents.
To view this in Eclipse go to Window>Show View>Other>General>Error Log.
