I Am trying to install the trial version of COBOL for windows.

I installed the Eclipse for Java. Is that the correct version to be used for the COBOL for Windows?

I am an old M/F COBOL programmer, not that good on the W/10 platform.

    Hi Carl,

    There is no need to install a separate version of Eclipse prior to the installation of Visual COBOL as as Visual COBOL for Eclipse has its own version of Eclipse and OpenJDK bundled with it, so when you install it you will have everything you need to start developing.
