What happens then?

When your personal edition license expires you simply have to download the latest version of the PE product and you will get another one year license. In that way you will always be kept up-to-date with the most current product releases.

I am now running it under Win/8.1 on a DELL with a medium-weighted CPU

I have been using COBOL since 1985 and this is keeping me going on it!

I would use it 5 or 6 days a week and I am retired now

This version is very quick
