Dear Valued Customer,

This note provides a security update for OpsCentral and our recommendation for planning your move to Zeke Web. Rocket Software's strategic direction for Zeke administration and monitoring is via Zeke Web. All future product innovation, modernization investments, and platform advancements are focused on Zeke Web.

Security Update: CVE-2026-91403

OpsCentral includes an Oracle Java runtime that is potentially affected by CVE-2026-91403.  Based on Rocket's assessment to date, OpsCentral has limited exposure to the conditions required to exploit this vulnerability. Those conditions are present only when the optional web interface is enabled and configured to use HTTPS. We recommend that all OpsCentral customers confirm their configuration by reviewing the web server settings in the Client Manager config.xml file. Customers using this configuration should disable the OpsCentral web server through the Client Manager config.xml file as a mitigation. Alternatively, disabling HTTPS and using HTTP, where appropriate for the environment, removes the affected TLS/JSSE communication path. Note: Disabling HTTPS will disable all encrypted comms for OpsCentral use - if you are currently using the Zeke Web Server this does not apply and you are secure at currently build levels.

If you have questions about your configuration, please contact Rocket Support.

Our Recommendation for OpsCentral Customers

Customers continuing to operate OpsCentral should carefully evaluate the risks associated with remaining on a legacy administration platform. As technology, browser, operating system, security, and infrastructure standards continue to evolve, customers may be exposed to increasing operational, supportability, compatibility, and security-related risks. Rocket's ongoing investment to address these changes is focused on Zeke Web.

For these reasons, Rocket Software does not recommend continued reliance on OpsCentral as a long-term operating model. Customers who have not yet transitioned should begin migration planning immediately and move to Zeke Web at the earliest practical opportunity.

Why Move to Zeke Web?

Many customers have already transitioned to Zeke Web and are benefiting from a modern, browser-based interface and ongoing product enhancements. By adopting Zeke Web, your organization can:

  • Align with Rocket Software's strategic direction for workload automation

  • Benefit from continued innovation and feature development

  • Leverage a modern, web-based user experience

  • Position your organization to take advantage of future product capabilities

  • Reduce reliance on legacy administration tools

Current Functional Differences

The majority of OpsCentral functionality is available in Zeke Web today. However, the following differences may be relevant to some organizations:

Multiple OpsCentral Instances in a Single Window

  • OpsCentral allows users to manage multiple instances within a single application window.

  • In Zeke Web, additional instances are typically accessed through separate browser tabs.

  • Similar operational management capabilities can be achieved through the Scheduling Environment Manager.

Shared Common Views

  • Unlike OpsCentral, Zeke Web does not currently support shared views that multiple users can access, such as a dedicated Payroll Job Events view.Drag-and-Drop EMR Movement Between Databases

  • OpsCentral supports moving EMRs between Zeke databases using drag-and-drop actions.

  • In Zeke Web, similar outcomes are available using existing Import/Export capabilities and related batch reporting functions.

Shared Profiles

  • Unlike OpsCentral, Zeke Web does not currently support profile sharing across users; similar configurations can be created manually for each user.

Possible Future Enhancements
Shared views and shared profiles are being evaluated as potential enhancements to Zeke Web. Rocket makes no commitment to deliver these enhancements or to any timeline for them. Please base planning and purchasing decisions on the capabilities available today.

Already Transitioned to Zeke Web?

We are also interested in understanding your current deployment status. If your organization is no longer actively using OpsCentral and has completed its transition to Zeke Web, please let us know.

Next Steps

We strongly encourage all OpsCentral customers to assess their migration plans and

begin the transition to Zeke Web. Your Rocket account team and Rocket Support are available to help you plan the move.

Thank you for your continued partnership and trust in Rocket Software.

Sincerely,
