We have version 6.2 installed on our systems and version 7 on another.  We have experienced issues with version 7 in that on occasion when we preform a recycle it gets hung up, this has been an issue since last summer, we have been told it is some sort of memory overlay issue and Rocket Support is trying to work with IBM to come up with a fix, as such we were advised not to upgrade our 6.2 environment to version 7.  I am just wondering if anyone else in the community has run into this issue or if its unique to my organization.

Hi Brian;

We have many clients that have upgraded to 7.0.5 and have done so without any problems regarding the Memory issue.

We do have another client that is having this same issue and it's in IBM's hands because it seems to be an IBM issue.  I know that they are working on a fix.   You're ok to stay on 6.2 at this time until the issue has been resolved by IBM. 

Do you have an open ticket with IBM as well?

We don't have a direct ticket open with IBM, our software is looked after by Kyndryl and they have been sending some dumps to Rocket support to pass along to IBM.  Thanks for replying as I was just wondering if somehow we were unique to the issue.  Maybe we need to take a hard look at why we are recycling it once a week.
