Javascript API getProperty() bug???

Hi, I'm having an issue with the "getProperty()" function. I need to get the class field.getProperty("html:class"), but isn't returning any value just an "undefined value" error. This is a code a made last year and I know it was working.  Maybe there was a change or a bug with one of the updates?.
