Customer IDs do not match. Please contact Uniface support.

I downloaded and installed uniface, registered on the website, received an email containing the Entitlement ID: 20a8c1c4-****-****-*****-************, however, at the end of the installation, when I go to activate the product the message appears: "Customer IDs do not match. Please contact Uniface support."

Hi Renato,

This issue occurs when an eid for another customer has been previously installed on the machine. To resolve the problem, delete the configuration file sntlcloudp_configuration_unifacebv.xml created by the previous installation. The default location for this file is C:\\ProgramData\\Rocket Uniface 10 Community Edition\\License. After the configuration has been cleared up, the activation should be successful.

An error occurred checking out a license (-1): Downloading the license failed, your customer ID is not associated with the specified entitlement ID (1037) Downloading the license failed, your customer ID is not associated with the specified entitlement ID (1037) .

Can you check if the XML file has been recreated as part of the activation? If it has, please start Uniface to see if the license file gets downloaded.
