Generating the locking code for Server B from Server A

Hi all

I have Uniface and RMS sentinel License Manager installed in Server A and also activated network license for Server A. 

As I need to run the echoid (Hexa decimal for Hostname + Ethernet address to be used) to generate the locking code, would that be possible to generate the locking code for Server B from Server A ? Because, I need to package and deploy the rms installation with license file to Server B.

    Hi Satheesh,

    It is not possible to run the echoid on a different server than the one you need to run the EID on.
    you will need to run echoid on the server that you want to use the EID on.

    Thanks for the reply. I can package the rms installation along with Uniface installation package and deploy in Server B. So I can run the echoid from Server B to generate the locking code to activate the license for Server B. I hope this will work.
